Joliet native June Maday Anthony is a lifelong educator. She has taught music to every age group from elementary school students to adults. She holds a Bachelor's degree in music from Northern Illinois University and a Master's in education from National Louis University. In addition to her work in both private and public schools, June has conducted church choirs, show choirs, madrigal ensembles, concert choirs, directed musical productions, and adjudicated vocal music contests. For nearly a decade, she led the Joliet Junior College Community Chorale. Currently, June is employed as an associate clinical professor for Illinois State University, supervising student teachers. A breast cancer survivor, June joined Sing to Live inAugust of 2014. June lives in New Lenox with her husband Larry. They treasure every moment with their two adult sons, Geoffrey and Gregory and daughter-in-law, Mary Beth.
